We've been busy this week making our little handprint trees for our parents. I found a bunch of little white paper sacks in my art cabinet and decided to have the children hand-stamp them using my Christmas stamps and jumbo stamp pads from Let's Explore.
Here is how I set this activity up for the children. I love the big stamps with the knobbed handles. I also like that they are clear so you can really see where you're stamping. The ink dried very quickly and didn't smudge at all.
Here is one of the bags that one of my students stamped.
To wrap our handprint tree presents, we placed them into the little stamped bags, punched two holes in the top of the bag, and tied a piece of curling ribbon through the holes. The children were excited to take these little bags home to give their families.

great idea! The bags look very cute!
