I am, admittedly, a little technologically inept. However, I am learning a lot, especially from doing the blog. Yesterday, I posted about the language materials I have been making. As of that post, I didn't know how to insert a link so my readers could download a document I created. And just now, I think I figured it out. So..............last night I worked on the "blue" series of word drawer cards. These consist of words written in light blue with a corresponding picture. The words in the "blue" series all begin with a consonant blend and contain short vowels. Each page has 6 word/picture sets and there are 6 pages in all. I am happy to share these, so I will try to insert the links below. PLEASE let me know if you are able to download these. THANKS!
NOTE: Read my post here to see how I am planning to use these cards. I made them especially to fit into the drawers I have. When trimmed the word card part is about 1 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches and the picture card is about 2 1/2 inches square. I am going to put about 5 sets of picture and word cards in each drawer, and I will label and color-code the backs of the cards somehow so they can easily be sorted out if they get mixed up. When I get that set up in my classroom, I'll post photos.
NOTE: I just edited the previous post so that you can download all the red/yellow/blue CVC word drawer files.
Deborah,

Thank you so much for the great site and what you have provided everyone. I also stay at home and home school, but am grandma, not mom, to a special needs child. It is great sites like yours that keep me going with him. I am relatively new to Montessori, wished I had known of it before raising my own four adult children. Your system is wonderful and I will be using it all. It was a God-send as I did not know where to start or where to find much of the materials. God Bless You

Thank you so much for sharing! I'm not Montessori trained nor a trained teacher. I'm just a SAHM helping my special needs son, trying to teach him, based on the Montessori method and your blog has been nothing short of inspiring, enlightening, and of course saved me heaps of time. Truly, I thank you!

Wow! I am so inspired. I have been teaching my children using the Montessori method for 2 years now. I have a small classroom set up at home and I am constantly trying to figure out new ways to organize some of my materials. I love the way you organize your phonetic cards in the clear folders. Love this!!! I will go out today to search for these...
Thanks so much for existing.

I love all of your phonics stuff...would it be possible for you to post the blackline cut and paste pages? It would be nice to have all of the pictures the same. Thank you so much for sharing your hard work, I really appreciate it very much. Jan

This is amazing! You've done all the work for us. Now that I found your blends and digraphs, I've decided I'm going to adopt your system! One question...where did you find those boxes of drawers? The one I have for my objects has smaller drawers.
