Happy 4th of July (to those of you who celebrate it)! I am HOPING to post more later about what we are doing here today to celebrate. However, my camera and I are having "issues". Does anyone else have a problem with their digital camera? My specific issue is that even when I have just recharged my rechargeable battery, I find that I have to turn my camera on and off repeatedly to get it to focus properly. I have a Kodak EasyShare and I am about ready to sell it out of sheer exasperation. But I don't know if it's a battery issue or a camera issue. Do rechargable batteries eventually lose their power? I would love your advice. Tell me what type of camera you use and what, if any, problems you have. Any info about batteries would be helpful too. THANKS!
On a happier note, I wanted to point out that I have just added two new links to my sidebar. I recently found Make and Takes and Let's Explore. These ladies have lots of fun ideas for great things to do with your little ones. I am finding lots of inspiration to use at home as well as in the classroom this fall. And a week or so ago I added Jo's blog to the sidebar. She lives in Japan and is doing lots of great projects as well as lots of Montessori stuff with her little guy. Two more recent additions are Aunt Jenny's Toy Barn and Everything Except the Grill. So check out their blogs. And I'm excited to say that I WON a Lisa Leonard necklace giveaway from Make and Takes. AND I won a contest on Jo's blog by having the "winning" name for her mermaid. YAY!!!!!!!!
Finally, I am planning to do a tutorial for how to do the freezer paper stencils. I would like to get that up later today, pending the camera issues. So look for that later. BYE!

I have a Kodak Easy Share too. No real problems with the camera but the software can drive me a bit crazy...soooo slow to start etc...
Rechargeable batteries CAN and DO need to be replaced.
