You know you have too much stuff when............

...........you search for something on e-Bay and in the search results you see something that reminds you that you ALREADY HAVE the item you were looking for.  Yes, folks, I DO have an apple cookie cutter.  I just needed to remember that I had it.  In my defense, the set of cookie cutters that includes the apple one is not mixed in with the other cutters that we use for playdough.

Instead, the cookie cutter was in a little tin box in a kitchen drawer.  The scary thing is that I almost just bid on some cookie cutters on e-Bay until I figured this out.  I'm excited, though, because I was recently going through a bunch of stuff I printed off about math literacy activities and saw some neat ideas for making manipulatives with little cookie cutters and salt dough.  So........look for something like that on the blog in the future.
