Sorry I'm late in announcing this............the winner of my giveaway of the Christmas bunting garland is "ibeeeg" who was the first commenter on that post. I wish more of you had decided to enter the giveaway! It's still not too late, however, to give a Gift of Compassion. My sons have decided to give a mosquito net and a chicken. My oldest son chose the mosquito net. At age 9 he is old enough to understand the risk that malaria poses in other countries. My youngest son, the sports nut, who I was expecting to choose the soccer ball, was very tickled at the thought of giving a chicken to a family. Maybe because we have our own chickens!
